I haven't been here in a while, but here's an idea:

Restrictions/rules:
- Stadium only. (That is, the official Stadium titlepack.)
- Custom objects are OK, provided they are embedded and meet the other rules.
- At the start of the map, there has to be an engine kill block that the car has to go over. This block has to be (a.) the same height as the start block, and (b.) no more than 6 seconds from the start block.
- The map cannot have any checkpoints, not even the circular checkpoints.
- The map cannot have any boosters.
- The map length is about 45 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Errata/other points:
- The map can go uphill - provided that you have the speed to make it up the slope. Remember: no boosters.
- Technically speaking, you could theoretically have a small hill at the start before the engine kill block - just make sure that you still hit the engine kill block in the 6-second time frame.

The whole theme is a downhill-derby type of map, where you start very high up and work your way downwards to the end of the map. This may have been done before, and if it has I haven't heard of when it was done.

Probably been done before, but anyway here's my idea =)

MTC - Best Scenery

Rules:
  • Only Stadium, Valley, Canyon Title Packs allowed (No RPG etc)
  • Only default blocks and objects (No custom objects allowed)
  • No mods allowed
  • No custom signs/skins allowed
  • Block-mixing allowed

    MT Intro and Outro encouraged to show off scenery.
    I think it would be cool seeing artists make the best of the standard blocks to achieve this.

    Best scenery wins!

    This may have been posted before but I'm too lazy to check.

    How about an MTC theme where players are airborne most of the time. Only ~4 seconds spent on the ground with jumps or drops having to be at least 3 seconds long in between. So more or less than half the time, you're in the air.

    Here is a stupid idea: the double map. The concept is to create two maps where the only difference is the position of start/finish/CP. Essentially the route of one map is the scenery of the second, and vice-versa. The two routes may intersect but not coincide. Could be fun!

    hmm, I've been thinking this week about something.

    I don't know if this has been done yet or not:
    theme:
    Limitations:
    build a map with any block you wish to use. but keep in mind that you only have a limit on rescources.

    (rescources would be the blocks you use. So like you got an option to use block 2-2-4 only 3 times etc...)

    I don't know if anyone would be interested in this kind of theme. But it's a challenge imo.
    force the players to use certain blocks less than usually and other blocks even more.

    yup that was my main idea the old puzzle mode on tm1
