I checked all submissions so far for their Titlepack and it looks like everyone has used one of Nadeos standard Titlepacks. So it's easy to make a server again (y)

I do not understand why a map of the currently running MTC is advertised in the Showcase. If this is not unfair to the other participants ?

It is unfair in terms of award count, indeed.
But the award count has nothing to do with the contest. The voting is done independently from the award count.

One good thing is that it can help to draw more attention to the MTC, when people check out the showcased track and then want to try out other MTC tracks

You should showcase all MTC tracks then, in random order if possible.

Then again, if you want you're track there, you just gotta donate to the website

And who cares if someone gets more attention to their track? It shouldn't matter with the votes.

Sorry if you think it is unfair, but judging isn't based on awards or popularity. All maps have the same amounts of votes, so why does it matter if my map is showcased?

That's also the feeling i had when i first saw it, it just feels wrong. Then i thought and indeed it actually changes nothing, and still, it feels wrong. I know it's not the case, but it feels like someone is getting an advantage in a running competition.
