Yesterday I release my new Map "blind Shadow 2". After a long period of time (about 2 years or more), I finally continued the "Natural Fullspeed" Style. I really like this Style because it offers the opportunity t actually use skill with driving. You don't get Speed from boosters but have to drive correctly on the Map. And although I am not the best driver I can say that I got things pretty well. The Trailer for "blind Shadow 2" received some good reviews and I am proud that those of you, who saw it liked it. When I made the Trailer I decided that I will build 1 Map every week and make a Trailer for each. Those Trailers will all be uploaded to YouTube and I'll inform you guys when there's a new one. I try to finish and upload them by every tuesday. The Maps will then be uploaded every thursday. But I can not guarantee that I will always follow the plan. Sometimes I won't have enough time for TM² or am not in the mood. But I will try to release a Trailer and a Map per week. Also I have the idea of editing replays and uploading them to YouTube as well. That can be replays of my own Maps or one of yours, if you wish! For all my videos I will use music. The problem is, that I don't produce music myself so I'll use music which I like. My preferred music is: Hardstyle, Techno, Drum&Base... Or Movie-Soundtracks, like I used for the "blind Shadow 2"-Trailer. Edit: Forgot to mention that I have two tracks ready. The nextone to be released is called "Orchidea" and is a SpeedTech Map. The other one will be called "Summer Blue" and is the start for a series. The Tracks in this series will all be called "Summer [Colour]". Since the temperature is rising toward summerly degrees in Germany, I thought it was a nice idea to start a summer-series! Anyways I hope you like my ideas and maybe support them. See ya! Zapphire

Well.. since people on MX don't blog that much, I already got 2 entries on the front-page.. I don't see why one shouldn't write a blog entry if he wants to, no matter if if this happens once a week or twice.. as long as you write something in which readers could be interested I don't see why there should be restrictions

i don't think that's a good idea spider ^^ That would mean if every other blogger is on holiday or decides to end blogging you can't post for months. If you meant "max 2 track posts" per 10 blog posts, i still don't think that's a good idea. The best thing about a blog is you can write about your interests and (as mentioned earlier) your followers will read it. As long as only 1 blogpost per author is featured on the frontpage i don't see why we need restrictions. ________________________________________________________________________________ And now back on topic all, we're hijacking this blogpost with stuff that should be typed in a forum ^^

the only reason why you'd think it's against mx policy is caused by mx itself. If they hadn't added all blogposts to the frontpage instead of a list of tags this discussion wouldn't even exist. A blogpost should indeed only be read by those interested in the topic. And as mx doesn't add the poster's name or a tagcloud to the frontpage, this problem will remain. only solution atm would be to keep the topictitle clear. "my personal new ideas" or "idea: blablabla" etc. (kinda like a forumtopic with a title "help" isn't useful if you're searching for ppl who had a similar problem as you) For instance, the only reason why i opened the topic (couldn't read it was started by you) was that i thought it was a topic created by a MX staff member.. so the topictitle "Future Planning and Maps" is too vague in this context

That's exactly right Zapphire. Ofcourse, as MX owns this site they do have the right to dictate whatever they want. Altho I cant see any sensible reason for not allowing self promotion on ones own blog.

Enlighten us then As far as I understand the blog-thing, I think that blogs are for whatever you want to tell your readers about. This may be some own stuff or random things.. or problems with something. A user's blog is belong to himself and I think that he/she can write whatever he/she wants to write in his/her blog!

I thought you could write whatever you want in your blog... I know there's forums, but in my blog I write my thoughts and stuff... And this blog is mostly about plannings for my future with TM²...
