Well, I'm finally back! It's been 9 months now since I released my last map. But now I'm proud to show you my new baby (get it? 9 months... baby... ah, forget it 8-| ).

I started to build this map in November or December '15. It was supposed to be a part of a series to kinda celebrate my 50th release. But unfortunately I totally lost the motivation to start TM. Besides that the three maps I had weren't even close to the quality I want for my maps.

Then there came TrackMania Turbo... and I was forced to play it (thanks for that |[X-v]|Slow ;) ). Well, with Turbo the fun came back and I built two maps there (never gonna port them to MP, sorry :s ). After I found the editor in Turbo is lacking tools that are important to me I decided to build in TM² again.
While reworking the maps I was once again asked to build a map for team CSb¹». The people who know me also know that I just can't say "no" when sbone asks me for a map. :p

Am I really the first man to build three CSb¹ maps? Just checked to be sure: I'm not, there are a few others that have built more than me... BUT... I'm the first non-member to build three maps for this team... At least kept some achievement. :cool:
I'm so happy that you like the map that much. What makes me happy especially is that you compare it to roots! which was definately one of my best maps. But I would like maps like this to happen more often than once a year, it's just way too much time. I won't go into detail for the single parts mentioned, just one thing: The old CP will be back on the next map i'm working on... ;)
I won't go in too much detail for the rest also to keep it as short as I can. Just a few words about the song: Yep, the song is full of emotions and a f**king positive vibe (at least for me). Thought it would fit perfect for a comeback-map since a part of the chorus is "You have the chance to rise again"... Just felt right to use it on this map. ;)

First of all: I'm so happy that you didn't find anything you didn't like and think the map is great for hunting! :d
One of the few things that are good when you're getting addicted to something are maps, so I'm happy my map kept you playing for a while. Means a lot to me.
I'm also happy you mention how much you like the MT. This was the part of the map that took much longer to finish than the rest because I wanted it to be really good. Glad it seems that I achieved this goal. :) And yes, kudos to airdevilneko for the great GPS. ;)
"You nailed it dude" is one of the best things I've ever read in an award, thank you soo much my friend! I'll keep building for sure... but I can't promise I can tighten the pace of building. ;)

To be called one of the best is always nice to read, thanks for that mate! :) I'm honestly kind of surprised to receive an award from you, at least so early after release since I thought you were quite inactive because you didn't release a new map for a while yourself. The more happy I am you were able to shake off the rust (believe me, I know exactly what you mean ;)) and hunted this map. :)
Also thank you for mentioning the smoothness, one thing I ultimately wanted for this one. Well except for the finish... but hey, like you say: 2 wheel driving rocks! :p

I'm really happy you think of my map as "a paradise of transitions" because they are really important to me when building a map. Great to also read that you were able to finish the line quite quickly and had one clean run after another, the map really seems to be a nice hunter. ;)
